Admit it - part of the allure of the period movie is always checking out the costumes, isn't it? And that ornate furniture? The opulent luxury all over the place? We know - we think so, too. We also know you can easily snag a little of that covetable Old World style with the Wellington Manor Poster Bed, a four-post bed with dramatic glamour worthy of any era.
The bed frame is crafted with durable mahogany solids and veneers, finished in a rich, warm Mahogany shade. Both the etched, over-sized headboard and footboard boast a blonde Prima Vera wood inlay on the left and right sides, accented at the foot by flat crown molding and accented at the head by broken pediment crown molding that swoops into a dramatic arch. In the center rests a textural pineapple carving. The four turned posts also feature pineapple carvings at their bases, topped with texturally intricate, swirling acanthus leaf carvings.
The bed's base rests high enough off the ground to accommodate under-bed storage units, and sturdy resin bracket feet keep everything in place. California king, king, and queen sizes available. Assemble the bed in a snap with common household tools and the included hardware.
